Hi, my name is Martha MacDonald, but most people just call me Mar.  I'm 38 years old, married with three children and love to play poker.  Although I love to play poker, I never actually knew how to play the game until about four years ago when I got tired of watching my husband play.  I finally caved in and decided that I wanted to learn to play the game for myself.  Since that time, I've been on a mission to improve my game, strategy, and position, so that I can continuously finish in the money.  I mostly enjoy MTTs where the competition can be fierce.  I love the specific challenges that face the MTT player, which can range from being the underdog (which is my favorite), to facing down table bullies, to taking advantage of the less experienced players or dealing with players who are on tilt.  I look forward to improving my game so that perhaps one day, I might be able to fulfill a dream and goal of mine by making it to a WSOP tourney and winning it.  Yes, it's a big dream, and goal, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
